AWA 50th Anniversary Booklet
We have been marking a difference in the Geelong region for 50 years. We were formed in Geelong in 1969 as the Point Henry Credit Co-operative based at Alcoa. In 2002 we changed our name to the AWA Credit Union and in 2015 we restructured to become an Alliance Bank (partnering with Bendigo & Adelaide Bank and trading as AWA Alliance Bank) which allowed us to remain independent and retain out offices in Geelong, Portland and Mandurah.
