Lions Clubs around Australia are focused on helping farmers through this extraordinary drought crisis. The Australian Lions Foundation has launched a national appeal to help our farming families. Funds are being quickly dispersed to farmers via local Lions Clubs in drought affected communities for fodder and other essential items to assist families.

The Golf Day returned $10,000, these funds make it possible for the club to provide a vital public service at the beautiful Pyramids Beach in Dawesville. The service includes the provision and maintenance of essential Lifesaving Equipment, Training & Education for their Youth/Seniors and safety for beachgoers in the Mandurah region. Keep up the good work guys !

A dedicated team of volunteers and shipwrights are restoring the 1903-built tall ship, Alma Doepel to return her to vital youth sail training role.
